The new start of Whisky Live London

This year’s edition of Whisky Live London took place on March 23-24. The day after the Gala of the World Whiskies Awards which is called Oscars in the world of whisky. The festival returned to the well-known location of the Honorrable Artillery Company where in February this year the final stage of the World Whiskies Awards competition took place. This historic mansion from the 18th century is located in a garden of six acres, very close to the Moorgate and Liverpool Streets subway stations which makes this place an unforgettable and unusually stylish backdrop for the all fans of the “water of life”.

The organizers announced a new “opening” of the festival and they kept their word. Compared to last year, almost two times more exhibitors (around 40) was expecting the guests visiting the building of the Honorary Artillery Company. Whisky was the queen of the evening – represented by countries from almost all continents. Visitors could taste the wide whisky offer: small batches, single malts, single casks, single grains and blended whisky. Many exhibitors have prepared rare, unique and difficult to buy spirits. Among the countries present at Whiskey Live London, it is worth mentioning: Spain, USA, Australia, Taiwan, Japan and, of course, the cradles of whisky – Ireland and Scotland.

In addition to the possibility of tasting unique whiskies at the stands, the organizers provided a number of other attractions: a rich offer of Masterclass sessions, pairing of whisky with cheeses, special food corner, VIP Lounge and a completely new concept – a zone with exclusive craft beers.
